Pig Hugged Meatloaf

I saw some examples of this online and tried it at home.  It worked great!
1lb ground beef
½ lb of bacon
1c breadcrumbs
1 lrg egg
2 tbs worcestershire sauce
1 tbs onion salt
1 tbs garlic powder
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp parsley
Preheat your oven to 350F.  Combine raw beef, egg and the seasonings in a bowl.  Add the bread crumbs ¼ c at a time.  Mix thoroughly by hand (spoons won’t work).  When the meat sticks together you don’t need to add anymore.  You should be able to make a ball with it.
Line the bottom of a bread pan with ¼ lb of the bacon.  Pack the beef into the pan.  Lay the rest of the bacon on top of the beef.  Bake in the oven for about an hour.
This recipe was very tasty and left a lot of drippings in the pan.  I recommend serving it with mashed potatoes and using the drippings to make tasty gravy.
